Yamashiro is located in an area known as Kaga. This bountiful land is completely enveloped by nature, nestled between Mt. Hakusan, the Japan Sea, and the Kaga Plain.
Blessed with an abundance of food, we try to bring out the best taste of each dish without adding too much, while keeping the presentation rather subdued.

The dishes used to serve the food are selected by the proprietor. These include Kutani ware and Yamanaka lacquer ware made by local artisans, antiques handed down from generation to generation, as well as replicas of works created by Kitaoji Rosanjin, the artist associated with our hotel.
